Drive letters and labels

Not really looking for 'help' here... just figured others might want to know in case they change these settings:

The Dopus setting for Show drive labels as: in the Settings->Preferences->Listers->Folder Tree tab is strangely affected by the equivilant setting made possible with Microsofts TweakUI under My Computer->Drive Letters. If for instance you had been used to using Windows Explorer with the TweakUI setting configured so that you Show all drive letters before label, and then install Dopus and make the similar change in the Settings->Preferences dialog mentioned above for Letter followed by label, what you end up with in the folder tree is all drive letters appear first, but the labels for mapped network shares disappear...

The settings conflict also affects Explorer in that the folder tree appears as if the TweakUI setting Show network drive letters before the label, and show local drive letters after the label had been selected...

So, I'm guessing that each application flips the same reg value flag or something to affect the folder tree display and that too many hands in the pot confuse both apps. Though it's strange then that Dopus' display isn't entirely manageable via TweakUI, and it doesn't seem possible to get both Explorer and Dopus to look the same with altered drive letter/label settings... In order to get Dopus to display all drive letters before the label without trashing the network share labels in Dopus, I have to go into TweakUI and set it back to the default (opposite of what I want) setting of Show all drive letters after the label. With Dopus then sensibly set for Letter followed by label, it looks right but Explorer does not. So for anyone who likes drive letters first and had previously done so with TweakUI for Win Exploder... enjoy!

I'm glad I found this  been driving me nuts :stuck_out_tongue:

Removing the "ShowDriveLettersFirst" value from

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer]

restored DOpus to sanity
