Dropbox folders seem to be ignoring default user folder format

I have created a new default folder format via Folder Options, which just shows Name, Date, Filesize columns.

However, when I go into various Dropbox folders, they all seem to be resetting to the factory default folder format.

Is this something to do with Dropbox, or am I missing something about my settings?

In Preferences / Folders / Folder Formats there's a default format for cloud storage folders (it's labelled OneDrive but applies to all recognised cloud storage). That's probably what's overriding your saved format.

A tip: if you ever want to know where a folder format comes from, hover the mouse cursor over the padlock symbol in the status bar.
