when searching for duplicate files, entering a known file that has known duplicates, in the "search for:" area, and entering the location where they reside in the "find in:" area, then press /click find button, but it seems that so searching takes place and no files are returned. Yet the searching the same location but with blank in the "search for:" area and Dopus searches and finds duplicates including those that I has explicitly named! Is this something other users have experienced?
If I click on either the Browse or Add File icon to add a specific file to search for, the filespec that is added is incorrect. For example, if I select..
C:\Log.txt
..the name that gets added is..
C:\Log.txt\Log.txt
This appears to be a bug and might explain your problem. If I manually edit the incorrect name, the find duplicates process works correctly.

Another way you can work around that problem for now is to drag & drop the file(s) you want to search for on to the Search For list.
