Everything Search DB files are getting bonkers large

Quick question for the master at HQ:
I have the 1.5 Everything Search utility set up to work with DOpus, and love it. Good stuff. However, I have a RAMdisk and its about 14gb in size, and slowly but surely the space is dwindling away, and I found today that the folder I have on the RAMdisk for Everything is nearly 6gb in size. it has the db file, which is 2.1gb, the backup db file, same size. and the tmp file which is 1.18gb in size. I have been struggling with longer and longer folder loading times, and wondering if this is playing a part in it. I just now tried rebuilding the db, and it didn't do anything besides make the files larger lol.
Any advice? I have included screenshots of the Everything config for the data it harvests in case you're wondering. Thank you for continued help guys.

It might make more sense to ask on the forum for Everything than the forum for Opus.

It wont fix "I have been struggling with longer and longer folder loading times, and wondering if this is playing a part in it. " but...

Everything keeps it's index in memory, storing the database on a RAM disk will not make Everything perform faster.

I have a lot of files, but the database file is only 600mb, since Everything 1.5a is very fast you can try to rebuild.

do you have the content indexing turn on for everything???

this is stored in memory too. I have 9 HHD in this machine, I turned this on and my DataBase file went from ~500mb to ~4500mb, 4.5Gb!

soo now I keep that off and only trun it on when I want to use it (in specific filetypes and locations as assigned) because it takes a few minutes to read & load everything into memory.

it its running all the time it's a performance hit.

I was told the very same thing on their forums as well... thank you for helping with thee thread!

This is a ink to my post on Everything's forum about this post:

I think i will try a rebuild if the problem gets any worse... since i've moved it off the ram disk its calmed down a bit.

And no, i dont have content tturned on for everything, see the Everything forum post for more details.
