Hi,
I want to have the exact dual display lister width with a folder tree.
left side includes the left lister with a folder tree.
right side includes the left lister with a folder tree.
I want both listers equal and both folder trees equal.
Of course lister & folder tree are not the same sizes.
later edit -
I've tried the manual way, but it is being reset once it is closed and restarted.
Thanks

Adjust to your preferences via
Set FOLDERTREESIZE 500,left
Set FOLDERTREESIZE 500,right
Set DUALSIZE 50
and save via
Prefs SETDEFAULTLISTER
or
Prefs LAYOUTSAVE

Thanks for replying.
Sorry if my question is a dummy, but where to apply these codes?
I've checked the 2 links you thankfully mentioned and search the preferences using the search box but was not able to do it or find it.

This post explains how to add buttons to toolbars and menus, and also applies to raw commands for things like standalone hotkeys.
For how to use Script Add-Ins, please scroll down to see the post below this one.
Much of this assumes Directory Opus…
Although the two Prefs commands are also in the default toolbars, under the Settings menu.
