Explorer runs at the same time as dopus

Is it normal for MS Explorer to operate at the same time as dopus?

It always shows up in the Task Manager and sometimes the window comes up after I do different things.

I thought dopus replaced Explorer in all ways.

If this is not correct behavior, how do I fix it?

For some reason it says I am using v 6.x, which is not the case. I am using the most current version.

Explorer.exe is responsible for the desktop and your taskbar, so it's normal to have it running.
