External viewer can't move to next/prev image on FTP site

When browsing pictures in a root Directory Opus, it is normal to click the first picture and enter the preview software of the picture viewing software. After that, you can use the up and down buttons to preview the pictures after or before, and I set up an FTP site to preview the pictures of the mobile phone on the computer. But you can only click the first picture in the Directory Opus, and then you can't use the up and down keys to browse other pictures in this Directory Opus(Verson:12.26 X64 Pro)
Thank you for any insights

Are we talking about the Directory Opus image viewer, or another one (e.g. Microsoft's picture viewer)?

I appreciate your reply.
It happens in Honeyview(a third-party image application)

Honeyview won't know anything about the FTP site. Opus will download the file to the temp directory and then tell the external viewer to display it. There's no general way to tell other software about other files on FTP sites, so they're downloaded to the local temp directory and that's what is passed to external software.

(You can configure Opus to pass the other software the path of the file on the FTP site, but most software won't know what to do with it, and wouldn't know the username and password to access the FTP site even if it could.)

Opus's own viewer will let you do that, since Opus can talk to it directly and it's aware of FTP sites.
