Extracting 7z files?

When I try to extract 7z files with Dopus 8.2.2.5 doesn't extract them - it copies the whole file.

How to?

Opus doesn't (currently) support 7z files. You can extract them using an external program, though, via the command-line or context/drag-n-drop menus.

One or two people have expressed interest in writing 7z VFS plugins but I don't think anyone has actually started making one yet (at least that they've mentioned).

Ok - thanks, but when I click on 'extract' - why doesn't DOpus return with an error that it can not extract the format? Instead of that it copies the file ...

Fair point. I guess that's a bug resulting from extract being a mode of the copy command.

I'll file a bug report for you.
