Using DOpus 12, when I press F2 on a single file, instead of going to inline editing mode, DOpus opens the Rename dialog box with "old name" / "new name". How can I have just inline editing without dialog box as I had in previous version?
This is probably something obvious I'm missing but I can't find something about this in Settings or on the forum.
OK got it. I had two assignments to the F2 hotkey. Maybe a result of my toolbar changes after upgrade from v11 to v12? I guess all entries in red are duplicates?
The toolbar button which runs Rename SIMPLE isn't part of the default config (for Opus 11 or Opus 12).
It looks like you have hotkeys from multiple conflicting toolbars active at the moment. That can happen if similar/duplicate toolbars are open simultaneously, but it can also happen if "Always enable this toolbar's keys in listers" is turned on for a toolbar under Customize > Toolbars and the functionality of that toolbar is duplicated by some other toolbar which is either open or also has its hotkeys always on.
The ability to keep hotkeys on while a toolbar is not open is there because a lot of the standard Edit menu hotkeys (Ctrl-V/C/X etc.) come from the Menu toolbar, and people wanting a minimal UI would turn off the toolbar, then wonder why the hotkeys stopped working.
