Since the latest Windows 10 update I cannot read USB drives formatted in FAT32. Although it looks like I can write files to the drive when I check it shows the drive as empty. Myself and my sister-in-law are having problems with other apps since the last Windows upgrade. Are you aware of a problem and are you working on a fix?
Can you read them in File Explorer?
I had a spare USB stick formatted as FAT. I reformatted it FAT32 and was able to copy a file to it and then read the file.
However when I disconnected and reconnected the drive, it seemed to not be recognized by either Opus or Explorer.
For whatever unknown reason after I removed and reconnected the drive a few times, it suddenly appeared.
I can't recreate the problem anymore.other than the drive sometimes seeming to be slow to be recognized after being connected.
Regardless of how well it's working or not working, the behavior seems to be the same Opus or Explorer at the same time.
(I'm completely up to date on Windows 10 Home).
Works fine here too at least to file size 2 GB .
Is it a laptop ? Perhaps a Windows USB power issue ???
