Could we have an improvement for the pictures marking / auto add to a collection? Sorry, i have asked this already some time ago, but the way it works now is not the best. If start in a folder "x", where i add some items to a collection, going BACK should go to the folder, where i started selecting stuff. If i select stuff from different folders, it should go back to the last used folder.
It opens the collection in a new tab, so just switch back to the previous tab if you want to return to the folder you were in.
Ok, i will try to make a new button to go to the previous tab then. But my natural move is to use "go back", which isn't possible in that case. Thanks.
You don't need a button to go to the previous tab, just click the tab.
Hmm, that doesn't work for me, although the option is ticked. I tried click, as well as double click.
What option? What are you actually talking about?
To switch to another tab, click the tab.
Ok, i thought i'd have to click the same tab, where i have the collection open. With lots of tabs open i have to find the right tab first, which i came from. I normally don't even use the mouse while in that workflow, so it would be the best, if "Go Back" would work.
You can always turn off the option to open the marked pictures collection.
Now that you are mentioning it, switching to the previous tab by clicking a tab that has just opened does not work. So sad! o)
I guess that's why Abr has problems clicking the newly opened library tab, it will not switch to the previous tab containing the actual files.
Go TABSELECT=prev does work though for newly opened tabs (I have it on hotkey +).
It also seems the issue is back where the viewer does not indicate a marked picture in the top left corner for the first picture opened.
@Abr
You should also get back to the tab the files are in by just closing the automatically opened library tab.
Yeah, tbone, thanks. That works. Usually i make the selection, cut all items, go back to the folder from where i started, & where there is some "outtakes" folder, to paste them there. So i could have turned off that option, as Jon suggested, but on the other hand i need it for a short time. There was also some confusion, as how the "click to go to previous" exactly works, which is now clearer.
