I use Opus per keyboard, except for a few situations, where it is not possible. But all the time the mouse cursor is causing trouble, when i open some menu it very often will point on some item, making it impossible to select entries, unless i have to remove the mouse cursor from the program window area. It would be nice to have an option to block the mouse cursor from showing up in that area, unless for example shift is held down ("mous cursor mode").
Maybe anyone else experienced this small problem & likes this idea?
If it's not the bug Leo describes above, you could try something like this:
nomousy.exe - A small utility designed to hide and/or restrict mouse cursor movement (I didn't test it): apps4apps.filetap.com/nomousy.html
Thanks, Cristiaan. I´m not sure, if this is the solution, since i had to activate/deactivate this all the time, since i change between programs very often.
I already posted an request in the ac'tivaid forum to include this funkction as a module. Maybe this somewhat more elegant than to officially request it from GPSoft (because only few users would find this useful)
So i could set certain programs like Opus & Opera, which i also use mainly per keyboard to have the mouse automatically turned off, except a modifier key is held down.
Yes, it is possible, sort of. Very often the focus "sticks" & i have to remove the cursor. One reason is, that i have the lister almost format filling on my 23" wide screen monitor, & i always forget to move the mouse cursor to the side, so when i change to Opus, in most cases it´s simply in the way. Let´s see, i had an answer from one ac'tivaid guy, who has an idea to alter some existing screenshot module, which already has the ability to "suspend" the cursor, hinting, that this would be possible, also the thing with the modifier key to allow the cursor.
Ca. 95% of the time i don´t need no mouse for Opus, almost everything is managed by shortcuts, keyboard & arrow keys, even changing tabs.
