Hi. I've been a very impressed user of Opus 11 and have been fervently hoping for some kind of update of the abilities of the 'Computer' native display.
I currently have it switched on, and one of the small annoyances is how it uses the 'incorrect' icons for UPnP devices on my network (i.e. it uses a default icon when Explorer shows actual icons.)
DOpus native 'Computer' also gives me the choice of hiding all empty drives or none of them, when I'd rather show the empty optical drives but no other empty drives, as is Explorer behaviour. I have about half of a dozen of empty drives thanks to a front panel SD bay, and showing the optical drives results in those all being shown as well. Since they don't eject, it's fairly useless to show them if empty.
Finally, the 'Files stored on this computer' option turns on display of the XP-oriented Documents and Shared folders that appear on Explorer, while post-XP the same Explorer window shows Downloads, Videos, Pictures, etc etc. as well. I've never found out how to add these to the folders that 'Files stored on this computer' shows and it may not actually be possible.
Of course I can turn native desktop off (and lose DOpus-specific advantages), but the annoyance here is that DOpus ignores the Windows setting about hiding empty drives completely, resulting in all those empty drives messing up the place again.
(I took pictures to illustrate but as I have a 4k screen they're kinda big so I'll only attach if asked to.)
With DOpus 12 in beta, is there any chance of having native 'Computer' updated to better emulate these behaviours of Explorer My Computer in Vista, 7, 8 and 10?
