I can't delete a file that is in an Opus 13 directory. See image, error.

Do you get the same error in File Explorer?

That error usually occurs either when the drive (removable, usb, ...) on which the file is stored has became unavailable or when the file is already in use.

Since this is a onenote file, have you tried fully closing OneNote before deleting it?
Be careful that this might be one of the potential many file OneNote has referenced internally as some kind of booknotes, and OneNote will then fail to access it but will probably still show it to you.

I remember seeing one page in the OneNote options where you can see all your current books. I think you'll find it under the "File" menu if you're using the (old) desktop version.

My O: drive is an external 4 TB Oyen Digital U34 Bolt NVMe SSD connected to my Windows 11 computer by USB4/Thunderbolt.
Windows has assigned this drive the drive letter O:, so throughout this discussion when I refer to "O" as a Hard Drive I am wrong. It is a Oyen Digital U34 Bolt 4 TB external NVMe SSD connected by USB4/Thunderbolt, and Windows assigns it drive letter "O".
One small terminology change will help use if we call it an external NVMe SSD rather than a hard drive.
Thanks for helping. I am doing some more checking and will respond with my finding.
