Yep it's better since dopus 9 when you have the files's conflict box, but i think someones are missing again like "Replace OLD"(overwrite files if the date is newer)...And when you rename a file with a name that already exist in the path, it will be good to have replace and not just retry,skip(/all),abort....what do you think ?
You can use the Copy UPDATEALL command if you want to replace old files with new ones. (Or the Synchronize tool.)
In what kind of situations would you want to rename a new file and delete the old file when there's a conflict?
hi nudel, no for the second point it was not in a conflict, sorry, it was just in a simple lister in one path, when you have for exemple "text.tx" and "text.txt" and you rename inline "text.tx" to "text.txt" (you have the default filebox conflict, but you don't have replace)
PS:COPY UPDATE but it will be great to add it to the conflict files box just to use it in a FTP copy (and it will be more faster then to launch a sync opération)
Got you.
I have turned on the Automatically number files renamed inline option so I forgot what happened when you inline-rename a file to something that already exists when the option is off.
Both things seem like good feature requests for GPSoft to me.
