Filter in real time

I've using the Filter box on my toolbar and there is an option to "filter in real time". I'd like for this to be turned on permanently but it's always deactivated when I first launch DO. I'm not seeing any preference setting for this.

Is this a possible feature request?

You can already do this by editing the toolbar and adding something to the Arg field of the filter box while in Customize mode.

I'm not sure what the string is (rebuilding my PC at the moment) but it's documented in the 8.2 changes PDF.
