Find a file - then copy that/those from one location into the other

I often need to copy a file (or files) from within the search results panel from one location into another.

Search results:
[File Name]---------[Folder]
FIle-abc.txt----------Folder1\sub folder2
File-abc.txt----------OtherFolder\Some Sub Folder\Anotherfolder

I want to copy the first one over the 2nd one.

Right now, ctrl-c first file
Select 2nd file, r-click, Open Containing Folder, ctrl-v
go back to search results

This is no problem for just a few files...

Have not found a workaround for this and maybe there simply isn't one.

Would you want that to work on multiple pairs files at once? If so, how would you want it to know which file goes where?

Or do you just want a better way to do each file or pair individually, without having to open and close lots of tabs?

It is about old photos/images that have been colour corrected. The 'corrected' versions are in a 'working folder' whereas the source files are in different sub folders.
The first dozen characters of file names are all the same.
So searching on that shows me source files and the update files.
Now I wish to move or copy the updates into the sub folders of the source files.

Tried to make it more visible what I mean with a simple example.

Try this context menu

Clipboard PASTE AS={filepath|..}\*.*

Super, thank you!
This is really very nice indeed.

One needs to click on Find to see that the action indeed has taken place.
Looked all over but I don't see a way to assign a hotkey to this one, but then again, I may be overlooking that feature.

Thanks again.

For some reason I thought you wanted to use the mouse... for a hotkey just use the command in a button/hotkey, or modify the original Paste button.

Wonderful!

Thank you again.
This is quite a time-saver for me.
