Find-as-you-type not matching as expected?

The "Find" option in FAYT bar doesn't work properly after I update Windows. It seems that actually find matches (words are highlighted), however acts as there's none.

Can you show a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Note that if Preferences / File Displays / FAYT and Filter Bar Options / Search anywhere in the filename is off then it will highlight matches inside filenames that don't start with what you typed, but it won't jump to those files. If it's just that, it is normal and has no connection to the Windows Creators Update.

As you can see, there are matches, althought the bar says otherwise.
I noticed that doesn't happen in all the folders, though I don't know why.
Also, prior the problem, I update DOpus to last beta, don't know if could be that.

You have the Extension (Dirs) as your primary sort column, and must also have Preferences / File Display Modes / Details / Sort-field specific key scrolling turned on.

That option means that typing into the search field will search the Extension (Dirs) column, not the Name column, since that's the one you are sorting by. (It will still highlight things in the Name column. Maybe it shouldn't. Not sure about that.)

But that is all that is happening. Nothing new there, and it's not caused by the Windows Creators Update.

Yep, my bad, sorry. Prior to update, I made some changes in Default Folder Format. Now is fixed. Thanks Leo.
