so i dbl clicked on a zip file which then descended into it as if it were a folder
the zip file is large with subfolders
i hit ctrl-F for find and entered *.jed in the 'name matching' box
nothing found, but i was looking at matching files in a subfolder of the zip
subfolders was checked, search in archives checked
what did i do wrong ?

Maybe a screenshot of your Find window would let us see what you are doing so we can work out what you're doing wrong.

darndest thing, i went back to make a screenshot and it worked fine, beats me, i had tried it a few times
