I am using DO for all file/folder activities. When I right click on a folder I hit search and it brings up Windows Search. Is there any way to replace that with the Find Panel or Find Tool? If not how can I add the Find Tool to the list when I right click on a folder?
Not sure why this works for some people and not others (unless you've got Explorer Replacement turned off), but IMO a better way to search a folder is to enter it and then turn on the Find Panel (Tools -> Find Panel), rather than use the separate Find Window.
Have you tried that method? If you prefer it like I do then you can make it easier to access via various methods. (I use a toolbar button to toggle the panel.)
What I find very interesting in my Windows 7 install is that when I right click on a folder in DO the Search options shows up, and that is where I would love to activate the Find panel to come up rather than the std Windows search. If I do the same right click within Windows Explorer I do not get that Search option. Is this the same for you and others? if so where is that Search option coming from when in DO? Maybe we can edit it to provide other functionality?
You can add the Opus Find panel to your right click context menus in a variety of ways. To add it to the context menu for folders, go to Settings -> File Types, then select the All Folders file type and add a new item to that menu that's set up like the screen grab below.
I did a complete reinstall of Windows 7 Pro x64 recently, and in doing that I installed Dopus again. Now when I select the Search function in Dopus it opens the Dopus Find panel perfectly. I checked the registry info above and its still defaulting to Windows Explorer, so something else is controlling this.
I'm not sure what kind of view you run dopus in, I use the explorer view most of the time.
Do you see this same phenomena:
In the left (tree) view, a right click does NOT show any search' item in the menu. However, a right click in the right pane (file) view, does show the search' item
Thanks to "leo's" registry edit, the "search" item I get when right click a directory in right pane is the dopus search panel.
But I wonder why I don't see the "search" item when right click a directory in left "tree" view?

There must be a bit more to the story. You pressed "new" in the right image dialog... then in that dialog I guess you typed:
"Open the Opus find panel" Then what? Did you just type in "set Utility = find,Toggle? or use another dialog, or what?
I see a number of choices yet to make that are not at all clear which way to go. I get a confusing dialog box shown in the screen grab:
Oh and PS - How are you guys getting the nice inlined screen grabs?...
Are you using the "URL" button and then the "Img" button inside of it? or what?

In that confusing dialog box, choose the option to Run an Opus function [Not supported in Explorer] and then you can set the button up like in my above screen shot.
Regarding screen grabs in general, I use FastStone Capture to snag anything on my computer screen. Graphics, movies, etc.
To show the images in an Opus thread here, use the upload file attachment shown in the below screen grab.

I open DO, and my folder tree shows up. I can highlight a folder in the folder tree, right click, and towards the top is a Search selection. I click on it and the Find Panel opens. This was not happening with my prior builds.
