In a folder I've activated the flat view mode which shows 68 folders and 897 files.
I select all files - and "change name of selected files" - then "Find And Replace" and in the Preview List I only see ~ 2.5 pages of the files (~ 90 files).
Is this a bug?

I also tried it in "normal mode" - selected the directory - selected "Rename files in selected sub folders", tried Find And Replace with the text "Original Short Mix" to "Original Mix - Short" .. and see screen shot. Some changes made - then DO replaces the source text by nothing!

For an example see in the middle - the track "The Human League_Don't You Want Me_()" - under column File you can see the (source) full path + file name (incl. the part to replace "Original Short Mix") - that's when I press TEST - after I've seen this - I never tried it really of course!
Destination should be "The Human League_Don't You Want Me_(Original Mix - Short)" ... as the previous files above.
Just tried to re-produce it - but didn't work - but I know that it has happend - I never had the new text before - only the old one - and sometimes it was replaced and otherwise not - however.
During the reproducing I've found another little issue:
Select all directories
Click "Change the names of selected files and folders"
Click "Find And Replace"
Click "Rename Files in selected sub-folders"
Old name: "Original Mix - Short"
New name: "Original Short Mix"
=> See DO_Rename_1.png
Click "Test"
=> See DO_Rename_2.png
After renaming the first row shows the old + new name - but there was no file - only directories (see DO_Rename_1.png)
Those screenshots still don't show the original name of the file which was renamed to The Human League_Don't You Want Me_().wav, or any of the other files for that matter.
If you want help understanding why a file was renamed to the wrong thing you need to tell us what the file's name was before it was renamed. Recreate the situation and show us what went wrong, then we can either explain why it happened or investigate what happened, if it looks like something went wrong.
Was it named The Human League_Don't You Want Me_(Original Mix - Short).wav or something else? From the screenshots so far we can only guess what the original file names were.
Without the original filenames we cannot try to reproduce the situation because we don't know what it was.
We need to see something like my screenshot below, but presumably showing it going wrong (since it looks fine when I try to recreate it using what I assume was the original filename):
Please provide a zip file containing some files & folders (they can be zero bytes if you want) that recreate either problem and I'll look at it/them.
Just seeing the RESULT of the problem but not having the list of files & folders that Opus is acting on means I can't reproduce anything. I could try random things until I stumble on the cause but since you've got the information there it would be a lot easier if you just provided it.
I've managed to reproduce the problem with the find & replace strings appearing in the preview list after running a test. That's been reported to GPSoftware now.
I still need some test filenames & paths in order to try and understand/reproduce the first problem, though.
