I don't think there is but it's not a bad idea. I'd usually rather start with a clean slate when I open the Find panel.
Just remembered: I recently requested a "reset" button in the Find panel that you can click to reset everything to the defaults/blank.
Would such a button do the job for you? Or would you still want an automatic reset to happen?
I figure making it manual, but just a single click (or hotkey) gives you the best of both worlds.
Something is better than nothing !!
