Hello!
I've experienced a crash with version 9. The crash occurs after writing a DVD (with Ashampoo Burning Studio) and ejecting the disc with DOpus in taskbar.
A few quick questions that might help reproduce the problem:
Was the folder tree on or off when the crash happened?
Does it happen all the time for you when you eject a DVD after burning it, or only sometimes? (Or is this the only time you've done it so far?)
Does the crash happen again if you insert the same DVD and eject it again, or is it only after the burning process?
I've upgraded to 9.0.0.1 and I can't reproduce it anymore. I've tried a few times but everything was ok. Folder tree was and is on.
Maybe it was something fixed in latest version.
The same problem is happening with lastest version. The conditions are the same: Opus in taskbar, tree view enabled, no antivirus software. The crash occured when ejecting the disc written with Ashampoo Burning Studio. I've written many discs with other burning software but I didn't have any problems.
Does it only happen right after burning a disk with that particular program?
i.e. If you eject the disk, then restart Opus and insert and eject the disk again, do you see a second crash?
If anyone else with Ashampoo Burning Studio is reading, can you let us know if you see the same problem?

Thanks. I'll install Ashampoo and see if I can reproduce the problem here.
I had identical problem with Roxio Easy CD Creator Classic (part of Easy Media Creator 9).
I've reported it some time ago to GPSoftware.
X.
Another crash using Prassi Ones this time. It happened immediately after pressing Record button. The conditions were the same.
I have the same problem using Nero. I have also noted it when I remove USB-disks/memory. It seams to be related to a filesystem-unit dissapearing.
It doesnt happen everytime but enough so that it is becoming irritating.
I'll try to have a look at this soon. I've got some stuff set up that should help debug the problem.
I have sometimes experienced crashes recently when ejecting a CD or DVD (without having just used CD writing software). In addition, DOpus does not restart as promised in the dialogue box.
It's being looked at so there's no need for more reports.
Ta!
Just to add : I'm also experiencing crashes when erasing a CD-RW using Nero 6.
Also, even if Dopus filelist isn't showing the CD/DVD drive in question, just some other harddrive, when a CD/DVD erase/write has been completed Dopus switches Viewmode at random.
The issues with CDs ejecting should be fixed in Opus 9.1.0.1 that was released recently.
