Flatten button to exclude folders

I added a button to toggle Flat View on and off

is there a way to make the resulting list exclude the sub folders ?

If you mean so that only the files are visible then that's what View -> Flat View -> Mixed (No Folders) does.

Change your button to Set FLATVIEW=MixedNoFolders,Toggle

You could have just looked at the existing button (the one leo highlighted) in customize mode.

I don't see where leo hightlighted a button, where was that?

When I mentioned View -> Flat View -> Mixed (No Folders).

In Opus menu items are the same as toolbar buttons. You can edit them and look at the commands they run, or drag them to other places (including toolbars).
