Floating Toolbar Shows Titlebar instead of buttons

Occasionally a floating toolbar shows the title bar text (toolbar's name) instead of buttons.

  • This behavior is difficult to consistently reproduce.
  • Mostly occurs after dragging or resizing the toolbar, then moving the mouse pointer off the toolbar without ever clicking anyplace else.
  • The title bar and text continues to show until I hover the mouse pointer over the title bar, and the area under the pointer repaints the correct button.

Is there any mouse move sequence that triggers this behavior?
Are there any settings to prevent (or force show) a toolbar's title bar text?

Floating Toolbar Appearance: Frame

AFAIK that isn't meant to happen.

Is anything installed that changes other programs' window frames?

Ok. If you never saw or heard of this type of issue, then it is probably some other program on my computer. I will look into this further on my end.

Thanks!

Leo, Just wanted to close out this question.
Again, you were 100% correct in your response.

I had an AutohotKey script that inadvertently included Dopus classes (dopus.dock and dopus.button.display.popup) in its title bar update logic.

Again, thank you for your insight and for the continued improvements in Directory Opus.
