Focus in Thumbnails Mode

I'm having an issue with the lister focus in dual display, single click mode using the cursor to select files. In details mode, the focus shifts with the mouse cursor, but in thumbnail mode, the focus does not shift. For example, select a few thumbnails by pointing, not clicking, in the inactive window (using ctrl and shft to select multiple files) then hit delete and the action is carried out on the other window, which still has focus, not on the last file selections. The focus can be shifted to the correct window using the Tab key or by left clicking, but of course that's an extra keystroke. Not a big deal but it appears to be an undocumented difference between details mode and thumbnails mode. I've looked everywhere and cannot find a setting which will affect this behavior.

No replies. Maybe I should phrase this differently... I would like to have dual listers change focus with the mouse cursor in thumbnail mode (pointing not clicking). Does anyone know how to get this to occur?

Confirmed on Vista.
I think you need to file a either a feature request or a bug report.
Don't expect an immediate fix though.

Luck amfonda !

Yup, there's nothing much to discuss here. Report it to GPSoft via their support URL:

gpsoft.com.au/Support.html

Most of the other issues people have reported recently got fixed pretty quickly (within a week or two), even the other ones related to single-click mode, so it might not take that long to fix once it's been reported to GPSoft. Can't be guaranteed since it might turn out to be a pain to fix or something else might take priority, of course, but stuff that people raise is being sorted out pretty fast at the moment.

Thanks, I'll submit it to support.

The bug appears to have been fixed in version 9.0.0.7. Thanks!

Yes, it's listed in the release notes.
