In the context menu for a folder, the first two options are Open and Explore. I'd like to remove both yet neither one shows up in the file type for "All Folders" or "All Files and Folders" How do I do that?
I think they're in the registry under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell but I'm not sure if removing the Open item is a good idea. I'd try renaming them before deleting them in case it breaks something.
It'll almost certainly break Opus's Explorer replacement mode by the look of things.
I went ahead and deleted both the "open" and "explore" registry keys. I've been using my computer for the past week or so without any symptoms. I have also set DOpus to replace explorer (replace explorer for all folders) and it works without a hitch. So far so good...
