Folder Quick View?

Is it possible to configure the Viewer Pane to work on folders? I would like for the contents of the folder to show up in the viewer pane, ideally with a customizable column format or style, when pressing the viewer pane key/button. Seems like such a waste to have the viewer pane show nothing when invoked on a folder

Alternatively is it possible to show the folders contents inline similar to how the flat view works except only for the selected folder? Sometimes i am in a folder with a lot of other folders/sub folders and the ability to quickly hit a hot key and have only that folders contents be displayed in flat view instead of all folders/sub folders would be awesome!

I am aware that you can configure a hotkey to have the selected folder open in dual mode or a new tab however i am curious if the above to options are possible?

thx

That's the only option at the moment.

Using the FILE TYPES EDITOR, you can make 2 entries in the "ALL FOLDERS" DOPUS filetype (higlighted in yellow below) that displays the content of the folder.

Clicking on an entry will also take you to the subfolder for that entry.

This does not seem to display hidden files tho.

This works pretty good with mixed flat views where u want to preserve the view.

Change it to Go CURRENT FOLDERCONTENT=button, showhidden

++ for a feature enhancement to allow FlatView of only selected folder(s) like a Set FLATVIEW=selected type option (which I'm sure would generate some bit of debate around how it would display amongst the other existing folder content) - or to allow normal "filtering" to be done prior to / or in parallel with enabling Flatview such that you could toggle on FlatView after applying some other filter (like Select NOPATTERN HIDEUNSEL) without the enabling of FlatView causing a previous filter trick to be "undone" (like what currently happens).

As an alternative - you can also add the sort of command being suggested here as a button command added under a Toolbar "Menu"... as opposed to a context menu entry.

The only problem I noticed with a toolbar button is that it doesn't seem to work on the folder tree pane .... at least as I have formatted the command ...while the context menu works on both.
