i have folders grouped separately at the top of the lister (which is what i want), now i have added a few folder shortcuts (.lnk files which point to folders) which i would like to be sorted along with the files rather than grouped with the folders
is that possible ?
You must have turned on sort shortcuts to folders like folders in Preferences. (At least, I don't think it is on by default. Either way, just turn it off.)
Use the filter at the bottom of the Preferences window to find it quickly.

although i found it i couldn't get the filter to find it, what should i have filtered on ?
Any or all of the words "sort shortcuts to folders like folders" should find it (assuming Opus is running in English).
