Folder tab closure behaviour in dual vertical lister view

Directory Opus V13.2

I use Directory Opus in dual lister view with folder tree and file display views on the left and right of the window. I’ve noticed the folder tab closure behaviour appears to be different from V12, and I can’t seem to fix it in preferences.

To give an example (be aware there’s a lot of lefts and rights in this).
Open Directory Opus in dual lister view with just one tab in each half.
In the right hand file display, left click once with mouse on a file or the white space inside the file display pane.
Now right click on the folder tab in the left hand view.
From the pop-up context menu, select “Close Tab”.

The result is the folder tab on the right hand pane closes and in doing so closes the dual vertical lister view (as it’s the last folder tab that was open). It’s no big problem to restore the dual vertical lister view, it’s just the tab behaviour I find annoying. This even happens with multiple tabs, but the behaviour appears inconsistent, and although I can make all the folder tabs in one half of the view close by right clicking the tabs in the other half of the view, I can’t replicate the behaviour consistently.

Anyone know how I fix this?

Steve

Probably already fixed in 13.3:
