Folder Tabs Disappearing

I'm running DOpus on a Windows 7 x 64 system using dual horizontal windows. I have folder tabs on both windows. Sometimes after closing DOPus and then reopening it the tabs on the top window have disappeared. The bottom window tabs are not affected.

I'm trying to monitor what circumstances are causing this but so far I haven't come up with anything certain. I thought it may be that sometimes I was logging off Windows without closing DOpus but I've just done this a couple of times and the top window tabs are still there when I reopen DOpus. I'll continue to monitor. Have I missed something or is there a set of circumstances that would cause the top window tabs to disappear?

Hard to say without knowing how you have Opus set to start and exit, and how it's being started when the tabs don't appear.

For example, if you launch Opus by double-clicking a folder, only that folder will be opened, not any tabs stored in your Default Layout (or wherever they are stored).

FWIW, if you're using Folder Tabs more like Favorites -- i.e. you want to always have things you can click to go to certain common folders -- it might be better to create toolbar buttons (or menu items) for those folders instead. Won't look the same as folder tabs but they'll always be there (and they won't get in the way of the current folder tabs you're actually using).

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I do have favourite folders set up. I just find folder tabs really handy to create, just double click a folder to create a tab and then lock it. I also like the fact that the folder tabs are directly on top the file list.
