In the course of installing W10 updates, I've lost the Folder Tree. I can see all the folders in various views but I cannot get the "Folder tree" to appear. I have checked the box for dual trees in a dual view but neither Folder Tree appears. I've looked at all the preferences I think appropriate, compared them to my laptop which is working ok, but I cannot get a "Folder Tree" to appear. No doubt I'm having a "senior Moment" (or 2 hours) but I can't find the switch.
I'm quite sure, there must be some menu button in the default toolbars somewhere, but as a workaround, you could make a new button, using Set TREE=Toggle to invoke the tree view. Alternatively, you can run a test directly, typing >Set TREE=Toggle to toggle it on.
Thank you!!!!!!! I never learned to CLIK on the text in the toolbar that had Icons. Cliking on icons got me nowhere. Cliking on the text, something I've never done, got me what I wanted. F8 did the trick! Thanx! As I said - Senior Moment! (2 hours ++).
