Just an F.Y.I. I can't seem to get the Folder Tree 'path to selected folder' color to match that of the tab. It seems to only work on the lower display of a dual lister and even then it is purely random (as far as I can tell). Again, just an F.Y.I.
Does turning off Preferences / Folder Tree / Appearance / Highlight path to all currently open tabs make a difference?
Where are the tab colors coming from? (e.g. Manually set, Folder Tab Groups, Folder Format.)
Turning off Preferences / Folder Tree / Appearance / Highlight path to all currently open tabs removes the highlight path altogether
The colors are set manually.

It looks like it's because the folder tree has been locked. The tree will continue to display its current state until it is unlocked. (The lock can be toggled via the button to the left of the tree's close button.)
