Format Lock, then Flat View: How to Keep Previous Locked Format?

If I have the format lock activated and I enable flat view with Set FLATVIEW=MixedNoFolders,toggleoff, the folder format changes to the default Flat View format.

Is there a way to prevent that and keep the previous locked format?

I know I can use @if to check if format lock is set, but I don't see a way of forcing the Flat View command to not change format then.

My guess is that the only way to do that is to save the current format to a temporary favorite and restore it after activating Flat View. Is that so?

If you turn off the Flat View format, it won't be used.

Is it possible to turn it off/on with a command? (So I can put it with the Format Lock command.)

Not at the moment at least.

Your earlier idea of saving a temporary format is probably best if you only want it to happen some of the time.
