Just wondering if we could get this option like iPhoto did back in 2008 with showing more folder thumbnails by just horizontally moving the cursor over folders (and videos)? Instead of a static 1 or 4 thumbnails (depending on ones settings).
Though this topic is very old, I just wanted to provide a modern "2022" reason this feature is necessary.
Today I was trying to identify a particular (backed up) TikTok that had a distinct hockey deke. The folder had over 20 clips.
If we had the kind of animated hover feature suggested here (constrained by mouse hover, of course), it would have taken me a few seconds to identify the video.
But as things stand, I had to open each video in the folder, then drag the media player slider to identify the video with the correct move. Very time consuming and annoying.
Again, I think with the prevalence of short clips across all social media platforms...this kind of feature becomes pretty useful.
