Could you add the ability to hold down ctrl to select multiple display fields at once? I think it would be much more convenient to edit the selected fields than each one individually.
How often do you need to do such a thing and to how many fields? It doesn't seem very common to me.
I admit not very often, but it makes customizing more tedious than it needs to be.
I use a combination of labels colors & change the label fields blue. (Inspired by Djankie's screenshot.) This isn't a feature that needs to be added right away, but I hope you address it at some point.
