Ftp connect swith password prompt fail

take a working ftp connection and add it to the ftp adressbook

once you tick "prompt for passwd" in the sites' setting page you cannot connect any longer: an attempt results in the popup asking for the password but once you entered it and clicked OK, the popup shows up again and so on... unticking "Prompt for passwd" again gives you a working ftp connection...

nothing is written to the FTP output window for those failed ftp connects...
this is German Dopus 9.0.0.2 on German Win XP Sp2

anybody else with this problem... does anybody with the australian Dopus 9.0.0.2 experience the same problem?

I reported this a little while ago. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. For now, turn off the Prompt for Password option and leave the password blank.

ah... nice work around... the empty passwd even with non ticked "prompt for passwd" makes Dopus ask for a passwd which then is processed in the right way...
