FTP Folder listing

I can't seem to find a way to show my ftp site explorer style, that is, folder tree to the left, sub folders/files on the right.

I think I may be missing something obvious but....

You're not missing anything, the current version of Opus doesn't support an explorer style FTP tree. However if you can sort of emulate an FTP tree by using a dual lister with the left pane set to the folders and the right pane set to a subfolder containing the file(s) you want to work with. I recently did this when I had to move several files to several different subfolders on one of my FTP sites.

I'm completely new to Opus, and was just about to post this precise question, until I found this post.

This seems to be a pretty major failing for a program that touts itself as having full-on built-in FTP capabilities!

John - I can't see how your suggestion would work in practice. Wouldn't it be necessary to have access to the sub-folders on the FTP site, and to your local sub-folders as well, in adjacent windows, to allow effective file transfer? This is how stand-alone FTP programs do it.

I've played around with the dual pane view, but can't make this happen,.

Ah well - just have to carry on using FTP Voyager. I was hoping to cut down on my installed software!
