FTP Passwords

where does DO store passwords for ftp?

They are in /dopusdata\ConfigFiles\ftp.oxc

They are encrypted but only weakly (since Opus has to be able to decrypt them). If you want more secure password storage then Keepass is very good and can be configured to auto-type into Opus password prompts.

For me, I woluld prefer to save such files in the program dict. but I think there is no way to do it, am I right?

I can't think of a good way to achieve that, unless you want to move all of the configuration files.

If it's possible, I'd like to install my DOpus on another partition, not the system partition c:\ with all Opus-relevant-files in the program dictionary on this partition.

You can do that by creating a junction or symbolic link from the settings directory to wherever you want it to be. (I've done that with my thumbnail cache folder to move it off C:\ and it works fine.)

Hm, sorry, don't know what you mean. Sounds complicated ...

Might be best avoided then. Junctions/links are very easy to create but it's also easy to get confused by them and delete the wrong thing or create a mess.
