The icons for FTP sites are shown as black rectangles (everywhere i.e. menus, tabs, location bar, FTP address book). All other icons seem to show correctly on my system. Is it the default style, a bug, or is there something wrong with my system/settings. How can I fix this and/or change the site icons?
Thanks for quick response. It fixed the issue. While the exe file in the given link was caught by Kaspersky Internet Security as a malicious file, I was able to build the source and run it instead.
Kaspersky caught nothing but its own paranoia (or possibly need to alarm you every so often to ensure it appears useful). 
It's a false positive, based on a generic heuristic, rather than anything specific or definitive.
Heuristic matches are more often false positives than real malware.
