FYI, Symantec AV nukes Opus 11.5 installer

The mechanism they use seems to be very historically primitive.

Please try downloading with the original file name and see if the problem still happens?

Sorry for the delayed reply - I couldn't test it again because I already had restored the download from the quarantine and excluded the file "ID" (whatever Symantec means by that) from being scanned in the future.

Just now I downloaded DOpus 11.5.2.0, and it worked fine - with or without changing the file name.

Looks like Symantec is behaving like a good corporate citizen again.

If anyone has any further issues, please let us know.

I have now retired as a computer consultant, but one of the pieces of software I suggested my clients avoid was Norton Security. Looks like little has changed that would make me change my mind.
