I am not sure if I have seen anything about this, so let me ask: is it possible to have a file that you work in (update, change, amend, etc.) in a certain folder, and then have a copy of this file, a copy that is read-only but is updated whenever the main files is, in another folder? (This would mimic a relational database application, where you can refer to certain data – which occurs only once in the database – from different places in the database application.)
