Global Everything Search - any option to force new tab for results?

When using the Global Everything Search option is there a way to force the results to open in a new tab instead of the tab in focus?

I've made some progress on my goal, with a hotkey I can switch to Opus and create a new tab with the following commands:

Go LASTACTIVELISTER NEW
Go C:\Users\Fred\Downloads NEWTAB

Does anyone know how to programmatically set focus to the search field at the top right? (The equivalent of pressing F3.)

Thanks.

There is a command to activate the FAYT field in Everything Global mode, for a similar result (also means you don't need to worry about which mode the Search Field is in, or if the Search Field even exists on the toolbars):

CLI QUICKSEARCHENGINE=everythingglobal QUICKSEARCH

Thanks - that works. I had found that command but I didn't realize the parameter could go before the QUICKSEARCH part. Otherwise, with the parameter after, it required a pattern which wouldn't work for what I wanted to do..

With Leo's help I've come up with the following solution:

//open existing lister or new if needed
Go LASTACTIVELISTER NEW

// open new tab - path required since search will not work on an empty tab
Go C:\Users\Fred\Downloads NEWTAB

// open FAYT window set to global Evrerything search
CLI QUICKSEARCHENGINE everythingglobal,wholeword QUICKSEARCH

One problem - the wholeword option is not working. I'll make a separate post for that.
