Hi guys,
Is there a way to pop-up the path finder using the command editor (like "GO PATHENTRY", but for the path finder)?
Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by "path finder"?
Now that you mention it, no reason for anyone to know what the heck I'm talking about - it's a term I just invented. Sorry 'bout that.
Anyways, it's the text box that pop ups when a letter is pressed in the keyboard. It's depending on the setting in: lister --> File Display --> Use Find field when typing.
I'm used to the way explorer works in which each time you press a letter, the focus goes to the next item, so I'm turning off this great feature. But I'd like to be able to bring it up using a hot key (from the menu: Settings --> customize ).
Thanks.
Okay, makes sense.
I don't think you can access the Find Field if you've turned it off in Preferences, though.
If you're just missing the ability to go to the next match for what you've typed so far, do you know that you can press F3 to do that when using the Find Field? (The up/down cursor keys also work of course, though they might mean something else if you are not sorting by name. F3 always finds the next name match, however you are sorting the list of files.)
Yeah, I'm aware of the F3, but it breaks the flow I'm used to use (i.e., pressing the same letter). NM, I'll just ask for this as a new feature and hope for the best.
Thanks for the response!
