Kinda off topic, but just thought you may want to get some users' feedback with morning coffee
I was your reseller in Poland in Amiga times (W.F.M.H.) for long, long time, but then, when Amiga died, I switched to windows and, obviously, tried DOpus as well. But at that time (AFAIK it was version 5 IIRC) it wasn't as good as Amiga's one so I gave it up. After some time I tried it again, an I am really happy user of v10 for I think over a year now, and I just realized that it's pretty obvious that all the features DOpus offers are on the system (and I user perhaps 10% of all of offered at max , then when I have to face "bare" windows desktop I got big "WTF is this utters shit doing here?". So, I hope guys you are going fine money with DOpus, as you really deserve this. Good job, and thanks!
{my backstory} I am also vintage Amiga user/lover and Dopus fan.customer from late 80s early 90s.
Yeah had similar not-so-nice-experiences with early Dopus PC versions.
Tried many others.. but mainly lots of fast ALT-TAB left-hand walking bass patterns , and general habit to maximize all windows in the mix etc.
Anyway I have been around the block, and the world, a few times since.
I just signed up for lovely snappy Dopus 10.5 license today with USB, SFTP/SSH options.
I found Dopus a few years ago but I echo the complimentary remarks. I put to together Youtube presentations with a mixture of wav, jpg, avchd, mov and tiff files. Dopus gives me incredible freedom to organise, preview and sort these files to simplify a necessarily complex job.
Ditto ftp to my web site, access to my archives via find and so many things.
My only possible complaint about Dopus is its complexity but that is a function of its flexibilty and so far every time I have tried to think of better way than Dopus does it I have failed.
I have one ambition with Dopus, that is to present a problem for which Leo has no answer or usable workaround
Seriously, Every now and again you come across a piece of software that feels like it was made with you in mind. In my business, Adobe Lightroom is that program...outside of that specialised graphics realm, Dopus is it. Every now and again it is nice to say thanks as the OP did. I'm just seconding that.
