Haali Media Splitter shell extension in Opus?

Installing Haali Media Splitter gives an option to install a shell extension that lets info from MKV files be displayed in Explorer tooltips and other areas.

Is there a way to get this to work with Opus? I have a lot of MKV video files, and it's frustrating not being able to add any info to their tooltips.

Try putting {infotip} ("Shell Info Tip" if you use the menu) into the Info Tip definiton for the MKV filetype (or the Movies filetype group).

I'll try that when I get home. That just tells Opus to use the infotip from Explorer?

Yup. I think it grabs the text and inserts it into the infotip that Opus generates so you can combine the Explorer infotip with additional information from Opus if you want.
