I am not able to sort / reverse sort any clicking on any of the column headings in detail mode. Clicking on the headers changes the up / down arrows, but the sequence of the data underneath the header does not change.

Could you post a screenshot showing what you see before and after clicking the header?
(Alt + Print Screen with the Opus window active, then Ctrl + V into the message editor here and it will paste the screenshot.)
And today ... it works perfectly. Unsure what caused it not to work, but whatever the cause, false alarm.
