I've commented on this issue before and now it's happening again. Only this time I can't even get the dialog box to come up and show me the version iteration. Everything else seems to be working. So why is this happening to me? Win 32, XP Service Pk 2, 1 gig of RAM.

Have you modified the Help -> About menu item?
I haven't changed ANYTHING to warrant this issue except for dutifully upgrading my copy of DOpus. So the answer is NO...I haven't modified anything.
There must be another way of verifying the version of DOpus I'm using instead of using the Help About dialog box. If there isn't one...please consider doing just that. Like putting a notice in the Help file with the version number might do it.
What does the command for your "About" function contain ?
Check the version number on dopus.exe's properties.
