Help. Can't get DOpus to open saved listers in list mode

I can create a button opening a saved lister in dualview format. However I want both listers to open up in list mode not details mode. How do I do this?

Do I have to delete the saved lister with the directories and resave them using list mode? Or is there a setting which allows any lister to open in list mode. I've tried folder option and file preferences...and for some reason I cannot get DOpus to open up a saved lister in list mode. The funny thing is...my default lister opens up in list mode...which is exactly the way I'd like the other listers to open up in. Any ideas?

Forget it. I figured out the answer myself. I have to delete the old saved lister and resave using list mode. Now I can open the listers in list mode.

If you're talking about Layouts or Styles then you should be able to save over existing ones without having to delete them first.

I'm afraid that's not what happens. When I tried that...it still wouldn't save the listers in list mode. I had to physically delete the lister layout and redo them from scratch.

I save layouts over the top of layouts all the time and never have a problem with the view mode not being changed.

How do you "save" over a previous layout you want to change? I don't get that bit.

If you select (from the drop-down) or simply type the name of a layout which already exists then Opus will ask you if you want to overwrite it.

Thanks. I figured that out by carefully looking over the options from the layout list. You're right. You can override the original listers. This DOpus really is the Cadillac of all file managers. I'm very impressed. I spend more time in DOpus than any other application in Windows.

I love creating the overlay with my favorite listers and applications on custom toolbars so I can launch them effortlessly. I don't ever have to look for things anymore.
