Help file displays html source only?

Here's a different problem. Not a big deal but I'm curious why it's happening.

I just installed DO on my laptop. When I access the help file (dopus.chm), all I see is the html code - not the formatted help information.

The same file works on my desktop ok and other .chm files display correctly on the laptop. The problem only seems to be with dopus.chm

Anyone have any clues?

Well, that fixed it... but now I have to figure out what broke it.

Curious that it only seemed to effect the dopus.chm file though...

How many other .chm files do you have?

I'm far from an expert on CHM so this is just a guess, but maybe some of them are in HTML format while others (like the Opus one) are in XML which gets converted to HTML by the help viewer when you open each page.

If the problem was with the registry details for the component which does the XML conversion, that may explain why it was affecting some CHMs and not others.

Purely a guess, though.

Sounds like a reasonable theory. It is xml code that I see in the help viewer. If that's the case, it might help me figure out what got broke. Thanks!
